Moto Guzzi Lemans Ci on 2040-motos
Moto Guzzi LeMans description
Selling my 1991 LeMans mk. 5 aka ci. 5500.00 obo. 42000 miles. Will help with shipping.
Here are the details;
It is one of 34 imported in 1991. 17 were red with red frames and 17 were black with red frames. It's the last of the Tonti framed Lemans. It differs from the early models in that it came with a 18 inch front wheel, frame mounted fairing, Bitudo 40mm front forks, floating brake rotors and updated switches. In the last 3000 miles it has had the heads rebuilt, new rings and guilds, 450 watt brushless charging system carbs rebuilt and new bearings in the final drive. The timing chain has been replaced with gear drive system, forks have been rebuilt, it has a dyna ignition system, Bub exhaust system, adjustable bars and remote oil filter assembly. Brakes have been unlinked with stainless lines and Corbin seat. It has a few minor bumps and bruises, chips around the headlight and front fender, rub marks on the seat, tail section and side covers. As you might expect for 42k miles. Paint is in good condition. Comes with Cortech soft luggage. I have some spares, including another set of side covers and original seat and bars. Verifiable check, cash or wire transfer only.

If you’re going to be at Laguna Seca for this weekend’s MotoGP race, be sure to stop by the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi booths, as both manufacturers are handing out $50 gift cards if you take a model from either manufacturer for a test ride. To qualify for the gift card, simply visit the Aprilia or Moto Guzzi booths during the weekend. There, you’ll receive a postcard encouraging you to test ride an Aprilia or Moto Guzzi at a participating US dealership.Fri, 05 Apr 2013
Considering how much his films “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down” for popularizing the GS, you’d think Scottish actor Ewan McGregor was a BMW guy. His friend and co-star in those two travelogues, Charley Boorman is a BMW brand ambassador, and it’d be easy to assume McGregor is as well. The truth is McGregor, well known for his love of motorcycles, is a much bigger fan of Moto Guzzi.
