Moto Guzzi California Custom description

2015 MOTO GUZZI CALIFORNIA CUSTOM
Bought new in February 2016-under warranty until February 2018; Only 500 miles on this bike.  This bike is in absolutely perfect showroom condition.  No marks, no nicks, no blemishes, no drops, no disappointments. It is superb mechanically.

 I have taken what is widely recognized as the best cruiser available and maximized it to the highest level in three areas: performance, suspension, and cosmetics.

PERFORMANCE: This Bike Flies

1.  Guzzi Tech Fueling Kit with Power Commander V and Auto Tune 300;

2. Guzzi Tech Modified Airbox Lid;

3. La Franconi Performance slip-ons with cats removed, (sounds fantastic!); Slip-ons have been polished to match the look of the stock mufflers, (Slip-ons are from the Guzzi catalog);

4. Guzzi Tech GT-RX H Pipe (lifetime warranty)

This bike has loads of horsepower and torque, and runs smoothly from idle to redline, with beautiful throttle response. Modifications have resulted in the following performance numbers as measured on a dyno: Rear wheel horsepower: 90.22@6200rpm, (up 10 hp from stock); Torque: 86.19@4600rpm, (up 10pound feet from stock). Motor runs 40 degrees cooler as a result of these modifications.

SUSPENSION: The Best Handling Cruiser Made Even Better

1.  Matris Italia Fork Cartridge Kit- adjustable front end- from plush to sport
2.  Matris Italia Emulsion Twin Shocks

No other cruiser can stick with it in the twisties. It makes sport bike riders wonder how such a big, comfortable bike can handle so well, and chase them down.

COSMETIC: Parts from the Moto Guzzi Catalog Make This Bike Unique

Moto Guzzi leather saddlebags with removable inner bags; Black chrome Guzzi Touring handlebars, (increased comfort and leverage); Black billet adjustable brake and clutch levers; Black billet brake and clutch reservoir covers; Black billet Moto Guzzi mirrors with Guzzi Eagle; Billet bar ends; Polished rear brake reservoir cover; Carbon look injector covers; Black cylinder head covers; Aluminum head bushings set; Billet swing arm washers, (uninstalled in factory packaging); Heated grips; Guzzi flyscreen. All take-off parts come with the bike.

The Moto Guzzi California Custom is the best cruiser built today.  It has power, handling, brakes, suspension, and reliability. Motorcycle Daily Bike of the Year; Motorcycle.com 2013 Cruiser of the Year; Cycle World 2013 Best Cruiser of the Year.

If you are the type of person who will only accept the best, then this bike is for you.  The best is never cheap, but it is always worth it. This bike is a joy around town, in the twisties, and over a long distance.  It is a combination of unmatched Italian style and performance.

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
