Moto Guzzi Ambassador description
Moto Guzzi an Italian Motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1921 by Carlo Guzzi continued their craftsmanship in the 1969 750 Moto Guzzi Ambassador. The Ambassador was first introduced as a 750cc in 1969, after the company felt they needed to increase the power on the 700cc. This vintage piece of Italian craftsmanship is in amazing condition. It is unrestored, has some patina, is esthetically original and has only 13,454 miles. Its has matching frame and engine numbers of 14311.
The engines starts right up and it rides very comfortable. It has the original tools in the tool box. All lights and turns signals work. The engine idles smooth. The 1969 750 Moto Guzzi a 47 year old classic. |

EICMA 2011 Preview: New Moto Guzzi V7 Range Revealed

Guzzi World Days 2011: Moto Guzzi Celebrates 90th Birthday
Tue, 20 Sep 2011A record crowd of over 20,000 landed in Mandello del Lario, Italy, for Giornate Mondiali Guzzi (Guzzi World Days) to celebrate Moto Guzzi’s 90th anniversary. The first Guzzi World Days event since 2007, the three-day celebration attracted thousands of enthusiasts representing about 52 different countries around the world. Visitors got to see the restoration efforts on historic Moto Guzzi landmarks including its famous wind tunnel, the first to be used by a motorcycle manufacturer to test aerodynamics.
Piaggio Reports Q1 2012 Results
Tue, 08 May 2012Increased scooter sales offset a drop in motorcycle sales, but both segments reported increases in net sales for the Piaggio Group in the first quarter of 2012. According to Piaggio‘s first quarter report, the Group sold 9,400 motorcycles worldwide, down 8.2% from the 10,300 units sold in the same quarter last year. Scooter sales however saw a 7.9% increase to 79,200 units from 73,400 units.
