Moto Guzzi 1000S description

I am reluctantly selling my 1991 Moto Guzzi 1000S. I am the third owner, and have meticulously cared for this bike. I never ride in the rain. It has always been garaged and covered.
This bike is unrestored original and in excellent condition, with the exception of maintenance items. I only used MG parts, unless there was a better alternative. The brake lines for instance are stainless with black cover.
The front forks have FAC cartridges and Wirth springs. I have the original Bitubo parts. The crossover has been changed. I have the original and covers. Mirrors are Rizoma. Originals are included, but not great.
This is basically a Series 2, with a few cosmetic changes for the U.S. market. Black faces on the gauges and a different headlight. It is still the large valve engine with PHM40 carbs. It produces 81hp. 10 more hp than the 93 model.
There were only 60, 1000S imported to the States in 1991. The majority were green frame, making this a very rare bike.

At the moment, North American customers usually have to wait a little longer before they receive new Piaggio models, with most models arriving on these shores months after they are available in Europe.

Three-Time World Champion Wayne Rainey Honored At Quail Motorcycle Gathering

Thu, 09 May 2013

Saturday, May 4 marked the 5th annual Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Carmel, California. With such a diverse collection of historical, rare and outrageous motorcycles, the Quail is an event we thoroughly enjoyed attending last year. To commemorate the occasion, this year’s guest of honor was none other than three-time 500cc Grand Prix world champion, and local area resident, Wayne Rainey.
