Moto Guzzi 1000S tech info
Moto Guzzi 1000S description
I am reluctantly selling my 1991 Moto Guzzi 1000S. I am the third owner, and have meticulously cared for this bike. I never ride in the rain. It has always been garaged and covered.
This bike is unrestored original and in excellent condition, with the exception of maintenance items. I only used MG parts, unless there was a better alternative. The brake lines for instance are stainless with black cover. The front forks have FAC cartridges and Wirth springs. I have the original Bitubo parts. The crossover has been changed. I have the original and covers. Mirrors are Rizoma. Originals are included, but not great. This is basically a Series 2, with a few cosmetic changes for the U.S. market. Black faces on the gauges and a different headlight. It is still the large valve engine with PHM40 carbs. It produces 81hp. 10 more hp than the 93 model. There were only 60, 1000S imported to the States in 1991. The majority were green frame, making this a very rare bike. |
