Used Lifan Motor Engine 90cc 4 stroke. Came out of a quad. It is complete as shown on auction pictures. Hate to say but we do not know much of the history of this motor. The quad was wrecked in the front so it was parted out or thrown away. The motor we were told ran, just the quad was wrecked and not worth the money to repair the front end. The motor does turn over nicely with the electric starter. Seems to have good compression. Has clean engine oil. The motor also is very clean as per photos. Wish we knew more to tell you about it. It is very similar to the Honda 90. This motor will be sold as is and no warranty or return. Please check your application before bidding. Shipped to lower 48 contiguous States only. |

Tue, 27 Jul 2021For the 2022 season, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has updated the KPT line of motorcycles, consisting of two tourenduros with 200 and 450 cc engines. In order to improve environmental performance, the younger model, the KPT 200, received a smaller displacement engine - 149 cc and, correspondingly, the new name: KPT 150.
American Lifan Fined $630,000 by EPA, Pays Additional Bond for Future Vehicles
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Chinese motorcycle importer American Lifan agreed to pay a $630,000 civil penalty for the illegal import and sale of 28,000 vehicles that did not comply with federal emission standards. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Dallas-based American Lifan imported and sold 28,000 streetbikes and scooters, recreational vehicles and engines produced in China but were not compliant with the Clean Air Act. American Lifan also agreed to post a bond worth between $300,000 and $500,000 to cover any potential penalties for future models imported though the 2016 model year.
