Kymco PEOPLE 50 description

Beautiful retro black and tan scooter - last of the scooters with BIG WHEELS and the last RETRO looking People scooter. I added a BUDDY SEAT and a TOP CASE that fits a large helmet or a bag of groceries (see photo) and IN-SEAT STORAGE. This has been an extremely reliable machine and well maintained with regular service and tune-ups. Never needed any major repairs. It fell once when it was parked: some scuff marks, slightly curled brake handle - but it's only cosmetic. There is a tiny crack in the fender - see photos. This machine starts instantly and runs great. It's a pleasure to ride and to look at. Newer real tire as well. The 2009 was an awesome model - check out all of the positive reviews online.

Cashier's check or cash ONLY in person. Scooter is in Pennsport, Philadelphia, 19147. Will not ship - buyer  must pick up.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.

Kymco Quannon 150 Unveiled

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

Taiwan-based Kymco unveiled three new products earlier this month at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA., including the Quannon 150. The air-cooled 149.3cc single-cylinder “sportbike” weighs 299 lbs and produces 14 hp allegedly allowing it to reach speeds of 72 mph. Speed is unlikely to be the main goal for beginners or commuters who purchase such a bike, but the claimed 70-75 mpg fuel efficiency will surely strike their fancy.
