2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 3 Results

Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.

Kawasaki Teases Ninja H2

Kawasaki announced it will unveil a new motorcycle called the Ninja H2 at the Intermot show on Sept. 30 and the evidence suggests it will be a new supercharged sportbike. The Japanese manufacturer first announced last November it was developing a supercharged I-4 engine at the Tokyo Motor Show, and the Ninja H2 announcement suggests that’s exactly what we’ll see in Cologne.

Of the “Big Four” Japanese motorcycle manufacturers, Kawasaki stands out from Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha in at least one notable way: it doesn’t produce scooters. Well, at least not for developed western markets.
