im listing a bike i thought i wouldnt get rid of,my daughter had an accident in my challenger and this hopefully will cover some work to be done on it,but i have taken the time to disassemble it,have the frame powder coated,swingarm,some motor pieces,the sprocket and the wheels,the bike has a bonded title because it seems like everyone loses their titles in texas,no this is not a barn find either,i bought this bike from a kawasaki mechanic in corpus christi texas,and went from there,i think he rebuilt the motor in the bike before i got it,because he had it all at the shop he worked in and motor was out of it and was very nicely done,Inever got the carbs or airbox i was promised or any fuel injection parts or the wiring for the bike,however i bought a spare gpz 1100 and used the front end totally,and the speedometer unit its triple clamps and bars as well as its brakes in the front after that was completed the wiring was removed from the 83 gpz and it was used on the bike because i wanted the whole front end and switches and any controls all to match because after all that was assembled,i took my old turbo kit from an old z1r i had and added it onto the engine and have ridden it as a town bike to just cruise because at 57 i had to slow down,.The carb i chose to use was an s&s super E bought and jetted for a stock gpz engine from a man who builds funny bikes,Hhe did a very good job,and i do not use a choke on this bike when starting it,simply turn on fuel,and then pump it 4 times then hit start,if it doesnt start i try same process again,bike runs nice and does start up which is better now that i used a very good new carb you can buy parts for instead of the old bendixbike has new castrol 20w50 oil in it and wix filter since ive finished what i was doing on bike ive made short rides around town and its real smooth,i dont like to hot rod around no more,too many cops,just like working and building up bikes to look niceA dyna ignition was added to the bike and hotter coils also.bike was painted green angels road color real close to kawasaki lime green,and the stripes were painted on its the only way to go,ONLY THING ABOUT THE seat is i never located the seat latch in the box of spare parts the seat was an original eddie lawson replicaseat i bought for 300.00 from a friend on face book in the gpz 1100 group that had some elr bikes shocks were close to 500.00 on rear end,and both tires were put on new as well,chain came from him also was a new low mile chain too,i recently took out my blinkers i had for this bike and mounted the rear 2 and front 2 are here also,i think i may have put the front blinkers on the rear,not sure,all the hookups are on the harness and marked also,and bike does not have the rear grab rail,a man named mike on facebook isstarting to reproduce themThe one thing i havent done from when i put the motor in bike was i either dropped one of the exhaust gaskets when hooking up the log pipe on motor or didnt tighten good enough or thgey leak,but i did get abrand new set to put on when i get around to it,bike soundsexactly like the silver bike that is a z1r on you tube,only i never turned up idle on it yet cause i dont want to stop at a light and have bike revving up,THE AIR FILTER WAS A SHARP OLD EDELBROCK FROM AN OLD TURBO EDELBROCK CARB THAT CAN GO WITH BIKE TOO,Since ive last took pictures on this bike i had the shorty pipe on the bike but that blowsexhaust on the knee pretty good so i found one of my old atp long pipes and put it on the bike,i have pictures in my phone of that when i had it on bike,it just looks neater with the short banana pipe,,but sounds like the old z1r with the long one,wheels are very nice,the inner spokes were powder coated gold,and outer edges of rim were left the aluminum color,,for more pictures and nicer ones ihave some more in my phone and can take more aswell,text me at 361-562-1720the old mr turbo guage needs new glycerine put in it because i guess from sitting it evaporatedone front universal fairing bracket is still off because mechanic lost it but has returned it to mefuel tank has a new pingle petcock,and net fuel pump to feed the carb also and new battery in bike,i just dont ride like i used to ,and still have my mint red 82 b2 gpz 1100 if i ever take it out,it may be going also just not sure yet on what all is in store for my challenger,thanks for the time gentlemen but i try to let people know what i have done to this bike,i got about 8 bikes total,and cant ride them all and am passing on a nice machine to new buyer,it would probably cost you about 10,000.00 to build this bike if you started to do this to your bike also in case you were looking for the eddie lawson look or 1100r look or a neat gpz b2the reason the decal says 1100 r is because its all i thought would look nice on the bike since i didnt have the gpz1100 emblems for the side covers and i wanted a good looking decal as well,thanks any questions text me for more pictures 361-562=1720 thanks

1982 KZ 1000 LTD,  look at ALL the pictures, she's not yet museum quality yet, BUT dam close!  It has new Bridgestone Spitfire White letter tires ( about 10 miles) fresh oil & filter, new gel battery, all guage lights work, gas guage, high beam, etc.  Has ORIGINAL good exhaust, no leaks or pin holes, about 98% of these bikes have been changed to 4 into 1 headers by the cafe guys?

For sale by original owner.   This will be a great bike for someone who has the skill and time to fix it up.   This is a PROJECT bike, and is NOT RUNNING.   It has been in the garage for years and needs significant work including carb rebuild, fuel tank clean and seal, brake master cyl rebuild, tires, battery (currently has no battery), and probably more.   It is in serious need of a paint job. The bike was running great before I let it sit in the garage for several years.   I tried to get it going again in 2007 but it wasn't running right, probably due to me changing the stock air box for custom air cleaners (see pictures).   I took it into the shop and they changed the carb jets, but it still was not right.   I rode it some, but then parked it in the garage again until this summer.   I think if the carbs jetted properly it would have been running well.

1982 Kawasaki GPZ550 23k miles Barn find. Starts right up settles into a perfect idle, shifts through all gears Previous owner installed a Vance and Hines 4 into 1, mid range needs properly jetted as it appears Carburetor's have never been off. Bike is 100% original except seat cover and header.

Hand built full custom Cafe Racer. The KZ750 twin starts out with a balance shaft, that is why I chose it for this project. GSXR 750 forks, brakes & wheel.

Up for auction is a 1982 Kawasaki GPZ750 also known as the KZ750R1.  The bike has not been ridden in several years and is not currently in rideable condition.  Recently, I installed the carbs and airbox from a running 2000 ZR750.

Here is an 82 KZ440 I picked about a year ago, and was doing a compltet cosmetic do over Do some financial and other problems I an unable to finish it, The bike runs and rides great so I left drive train in tact ( a I said just cosmetics paint was faded and such had my friend who does customizing and painting, paint it thge drark green and blacked out motor and frame really work together. Just a few things need completed exhaust needs mountedall hardware included, brake calipers/master cylinder and come cables connected. I am also including a set of highway pegs, custom turn signals (new) and other things you see pictured.

This is a super clean GPZ 750. Super clean!  Engine has been completely rebuilt, just had an oil change, everything works perfectly.

1982 Kawasaki GPZ550 got it at an estate auction, all original in great shape. It has been sitting a couple years, starts and will run for a few seconds then shuts off. I believe the carbs.

This 1982 Kawasaki Spectre 750 in in near mint condition. It only has 2,222 actual miles and everything is original on it. Really beautiful bike.

The bike is not running ! The previous owner told me it needed a battery, and an ignition coil, I purchased these, and put on bike, but it does"t seem to be getting any fire. The bike has a pretty new front tire, and chrome looks good.

Selling my great 1982 Kawasaki KZ750 CSR Twin. If you stand in front of it you wouldn't believe it's a motorcycle that's 34 years old. It is in exceptional condition.

This motorcycle is a nice everyday rider, runs well and has good transmission, clutch and motor. All electronics are in working order. The bike has received an oil and filter change, the tank has been flushed and fresh fuel added; the tank is extremely clean inside.

1982 Kawasaki Kz 1000 LTD, All original except 4 into 1 header. No title-bill of sale only.Starts & runs good.Everything works except the shifter - it only goes in to 1st gear and neutral. I put a new clutch in it and ran it around the block a few times & the transmission worked good(all 5 gears).

MECHANICALLY ;-Needs a starter button(NOT STARTER) the starter works fine.-A flasher.-The cable for the front brake that makes the rear brake light light up the rear brake still works the brake light. Cosmetically-One of the lens covers is cracked-One of the side panels is missing It is a fun bike to ride. Runs great.

I've got a KZ750R1 GPZ Cafe Racer project, the bike is a 1982 with 20k miles. I got it this year from the person who started the project, the bike was running fine.  Over the summer I put maybe 150 miles on the bike, fixed a few things (new chain, new starter). Unfortunately the motor needs to be replaced or rebuilt now (the bike does not run) and I just don't have the time and am not a motorcycle mechanic (I am relocating to TX).  A few other details: custom kerker exhaust integrated directionals in the rear lights cafe handle bars new starter motor  new chain recently changed oil cover, lock and helmet included It's a sharp looking bike with a lot of potential.

Kawasaki KZ750 Runs and drives excellent. Has a Jerker exhaust pipe and almost new tires. Good clean title.

If you're one of the Chosen Few, you can now obtain the unobtainable;  from the May 1982 Cycle magazine S1 review article. 29 of these motorcycles were imported for AMA superbike racing in 1982, dealer cost was $10,999.00. No retail price was listed. Several ended up being shipped out of the country. It is also my understanding that some were disassembled by Kawasaki to sell as parts. How many I do not know.

As you can see from the pictures and video, this bike is like new. It is truly a time capsule. It was in air conditioned storage until October of 2011 with 0 miles.

I'm selling my 1982 Kawasaki KZ1100 . The bike needs what i believe is carb work. It runs well out on the highway, But Idling you have to have the choke on to keep it running.

I bought this a few years ago on a quest to own every year GPZ-550, found out after I bought it that the motor was seized, I have most if not all the parts, I do have a clear title in hand and I am sure that someone looking for pieces for their GPZ 550 could find a bunch of valuable pieces in this basket case... I am selling this very Clean 1982 Kawasaki Spectre 750 CC Shaft Drive Motorcycle. This Bike has #2 Like New Tubeless Tires Front and Rear, a New Ignition Switch with 2 Keys, High Heat Re-Painted 4 into 1 Header pipe for added Performance it is smooth and Not very loud. This Kawasaki Gets great Gas Mileage and is an Every Day Driver.

Bike was nicely restored this year. Forks rebuilt with new seals and oil. Rear swingarm rebuilt with new needle bearings and sleeve.

Here's your chance to have a very nice original old school cruiser. Has all of the Vetter hardware that came with these bikes back in the day.  The bike runs fine, I just took it for a 80 mile ride yesterday, everything works as it should.  It has a brand new battery but will need tires.  The seat has a split seam in the center and a mar on the right side from opening against it.  Some of the paint is a little faded but overall condition.  The right hand exhaust pipe has some bluing caused by a bad coil which has been replaced.  Overall this bike is in nice condition, it certainly could take you anywhere you want to go.  If you have any questions feel free to call me. 517-242-7780 Thanks, Dave
