2013 KAWASAKI KLX™140L, Stretching the Envelope of Fun and Adventure If the standard KLX140 with its 17-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels holds appeal for both young and old, the KLX140L incorporates all of its many features, yet packages them in a slightly beefier version, giving taller riders something to crow about. The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels on the L-version are only part of the story, as its also equipped with a more performance-oriented, reservoir-type shock that the larger, more experienced rider will quickly appreciate.

Corbin Bleu Rides to Promote Free Style
Mon, 14 Sep 2009If you’ve got a tween girl in your life you’re probably aware that High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has a new motocross-inspired movie “Free Style” coming out on October 9. Bleu and some of his co-stars were on hand at a Kawasaki event at Piru Motocross Park in Piru, California to promote the film and the actor/singer took to the track. Bleu got geared up and took a KLX110 and a KLX140 around the track to have a little fun.

Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
