1980 Kawasaki Other on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Other description
I bought this bike completely stock and in running condition in 2013. It sat for about a year, then a mechanic friend helped me do mostly cosmetic work. We changed the seat, tires (brand new Firestone Deluxe Champion Blackwall 350-18 tires), painted the wheels black (the paint has chipped off in places), built a new battery box, new battery (brand new gel battery in 2015, does not currently have a charge), mounted a Biltwell license plate bracket with LED tail light, etc. Most of the work we did you can see in the photos. The bike ran great the last time it was ridden, but it has sat for several months. The wiring needs to be cleaned up and the carbs could use adjustment. In-line air cleaners included (not in photos). The battery also needs charged. I do not have a charger. I have an enduro that I ride around everywhere, so I just don't have the interest to button up this little project, and probably wouldn't ride it much. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. Local pickup only, in Columbus, OH. PayPal deposit/ cash in-person. Thanks for looking...

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
