1972 Kawasaki H1 500 on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Other tech info
Kawasaki Other description
This is a 1972 Kawasaki H1 500. It is in very good condition. Some of what you read here is also found in the condition description. There is no rust. It runs well and is ready for show or the road. I customized it to follow the theme of a WWII fighter plane. The seat has been re-upholstered. I cleaned up the engine cases by doing an engine turn finish and jeweled the edges of the cylinder fins. Parts for these bikes are found mostly online and not at dealerships. I bought it in 2007 so I am not the original owner. It was well taken care of and has a clear title. The tank is in good condition and does not show signs of internal rust. I keep it topped off with fuel to prevent that from happening. I use this bike as more of a show bike than one to ride but it is rideable. These were the predecessors of the current sport bikes today. It is kept garaged and under cover. I want to sell it because I want to add space in my garage for an ATV and figure this should probably go. If you have any questions please respond to this ad and I'll get back with you. I will not deliver. You must arrange for pickup if interested.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
2014 Kawasaki J300 Scooter Spotted Filming in Milan
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Of the “Big Four” Japanese motorcycle manufacturers, Kawasaki stands out from Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha in at least one notable way: it doesn’t produce scooters. Well, at least not for developed western markets. In the Philippines, Kawasaki offers a 112cc step-through scooter called the Curve, pictured above, while other Asian markets get underbone-style models like the Indonesian Kawasaki Edge R.
WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
