2008 Kawasaki Ninja 500R for sale. $3,000 -- Original Owner Excellent condition, never laid down and regularly maintained. Used mostly for commute to work. I've ridden it a couple of times this year but not much in the year and a half prior. Runs great, always starts on first attempt. I would keep it but I just don't have time to ride it for pleasure. There are only a handful of barely-noticeable minor scuffs but never laid it down. ABS Option Coming for 2014 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic, Nomad and Vaquero
Wed, 17 Apr 2013Anti-lock brake technology has become fairly commonplace for motorcycles now, and it sometimes comes as a bit of a surprise when a major manufacturer does not offer ABS as an option on certain models. The European Parliament making ABS mandatory by 2016 has helped push things along, as manufacturers work to equip their models with the technology ahead of the deadline, not just for the European market but also for other markets including the U.S. New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal Kawasaki will offer an ABS version for its 2014 Vulcan 1700 cruisers and tourers for American consumers.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R 30th Anniversary Edition Revealed
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Kawasaki added a new limited edition 30th Anniversary Ninja model, revealing the 2015 ZX-14R in a special Firecracker Red and Metallic Graystone color scheme based on the colors of the original 1984 Ninja 900, the company’s first fully-faired sportbike. Kawasaki had previously announced 30th anniversary editions of the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, both bearing green livery remembering the company’s World Superbike and Supersport racers. Only 300 units of the limited edition Ninja ZX-14R will be produced for the U.S.
