Fully Built Muscle Bike Just recently serviced by Moto Tech of Miami (Solenoid, Wiring Harness, Rectifier, Radiator Fan Switch, etc) and Gables Motorsports Kawasaki for the recalls (Stator, Gas Tank Lines and Gaskets, Fuel Lever Sensor, Alternator Lead Wire, Tire Valve Nuts). Had Dyno run at Blais Cycle in Dania Beach, FL. She put out 183.5 RWHP and 101.2 FT/LB of Torque at 65% humidity and 95° F! Mods are as follows: Muzzys' timing advancer set at 5° advanced, Full Titanium Akrapovic exhaust, Muzzys Gold Anodized Velocity Stacks, Muzzys smog block-off plates, BMC race air filters and Power Commander 3 USB with Blais Cycle tune (Now Removed get the PCV instead). Recently tacked on Renthal lightweight 47T rear sprocket and Vortex 17T front sprocket and Galfer wave rear brake rotor. Paton Enters 2014 Isle of Man TT
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.
Kawasaki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Kawasaki reported an operating loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$27.1 million) from its motorcycle and engine business for its second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012. Despite the loss, the quarter still represented an improvement from the same quarter last year which saw a loss of 2.3 billion yen.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
