Kawasaki KX description
I have a 1994 KX125 for sale that was given to me from my brother. This bike was handed down from his friend and now it's in my hands. I intended to fix it up and give it to a friend but I decided to buy an exhaust for my 450. Anyways, The bike does run but is hard to start now that it's cold and snowing. The bike DEFINITELY needs a new spark plug and would benefit from a carb rebuild. I rode it around a few times before I let my friend borrow it and it ran good so I'm sure the piston and rings are in attractive shape. I haven't yet changed the oil or cleaned the air filter. The silencer fell off when my friend borrowed it (It was broken anyways).Like I said this bike needs work but would make a great project bike! Mon, 09 Sep 2013A few days ago, Kawasaki revealed several 2014 models including a new Ninja 1000 updated with ABS, traction control, multiple ride modes, monobloc calipers and optional luggage. Among the model announcements was the 2014 Ninja ZX-14R with three new color options: Golden Blazed Green and Metallic Spark Black, Candy Burnt Orange and Metallic Spark Black, and Flat Ebony and Ebony. But that’s not all Kawasaki had for its 1441cc behemoth.
The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
Attack Performance Announces MotoGP CRT Effort
Mon, 09 Apr 2012Attack Performance officially announced it will race in the 2012 U.S. Grand Prix and Indianapolis Grand Prix on a Kawasaki-powered Claiming Rule Team machine. Reports the Huntington Beach, Calif., racing parts manufacturer was granted a wild card to the two American MotoGP rounds surfaced last week, the AMA Pro Racing regular officially confirmed the news just as the 2012 MotoGP World Championship got under way.
