2013 KAWASAKI KLX140L, Stretching the Envelope of Fun and Adventure If the standard KLX140 with its 17-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels holds appeal for both young and old, the KLX140L incorporates all of its many features, yet packages them in a slightly beefier version, giving taller riders something to crow about. The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels on the L-version are only part of the story, as its also equipped with a more performance-oriented, reservoir-type shock that the larger, more experienced rider will quickly appreciate.

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca

Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.

On Friday, March 14th from noon to 3:00 PM, Kawasaki is hosting “Bike Nite in the Daylite” at the Daytona Int’l Speedway.
