Kawasaki KE175 description

Very nice 1977 Kawasaki KE175.  Was a true barn find when I purchased her two years ago.
Had 1902 original miles, now has 5800.  I had all new rubber seals put in, all fluids changed, new battery, new chain, new tires - runs like she's right off the showroom floor.
Just renewed the plates - good until 8/18.
Has COMPLETE original tool kit, and a lot of the original paperwork (Owners manual, Warranty book, etc., had to give up original title when I registered her here).
Few minor chips, and scratches.  All lights, and horn work.  Absolutely no rust in tank, and really none elsewhere (very minor amount on exhaust pipe).
Includes aprox $500 worth of spare parts (all NOS):
Headlight, taillight lens, spare bulbs for gauges, turn signal flasher relay, ignition coil, clutch cable, throttle cable, brake & clutch handles, front & back brakes shoes, set of chain adjusters, 15t front sprocket (14t on), spare sparkplugs (1 hotter, 1 colder than stock), carb rebuild kit, slide return spring, oil pump, oil line, rotary valve, head gasket, base gasket, clutch cover gasket.
I put GOOD front pegs on, but kept stock rubber ones. Replaced all outside engine bolts with Allenheads - have the rest for the internal case, but didn't want to crack it open to change them.
Also have a Clymer's shop manual for it.

Buyer responsible for pickup, or shipping.
However, I am willing to deliver to buyer, or trucking company in the Ashland/Medford/Grants Pass (Oregon) area.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

2013 AMA Supercross Phoenix Race Report

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Justin Barcia led all 20 laps to earn his first career victory in the 450cc class of the AMA Supercross Championship. The Team Honda Muscle Milk rider took the holeshot and never looked back to take his maiden win in front of 50,109 fans at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. “I can’t tell you how excited I am right now,” says Barcia.
