Engine professionally rebuilt. Bored 1st oversize. New Wossner pistons, new rods, bearings, seals. Best quality parts used throughout. Forks rebuilt, new shocks, wheel bearings, bronze swing arm bushings. All cables are new. New master cylinder, rebuilt caliper, stainless steel brake lines, EBC brake pads and shoes. New DID chrome wheels with Buchanan stainless steel spokes. Hubs polished. Modern style Bridgestone tires. Professionally painted with new decals clear coated over. Fender,chainguard, grab rail, headlight ring all rechromed. All electrics work properly. Less than 100 miles on everything done to this bike. A little over 9000 original miles on the bike. Owners manual, and tool kit are present. I purchased the bike from the original owner. I have some of the factory original parts available if interested in changing some things back. Not a show bike but very, very nice. Paint and chrome are beautiful. Engine not detailed but clean and rebuilt professionally. Will be available to help your shipper with pick up. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

FIM Releases New WSBK Rules – Updates Include Pitstops, Weight Limits and Headlight Decals

The International Motorcycling Federation and the Superbike Racing Commission released a number of amendments to the 2013 World Superbike Championship rulebook including pitstops, fake headlights and a revised starting grid alignment. We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.
