Can be set up back to MX bike in two to 3 hours, at no cost. This bike was purchased for Flat track racing, the suspension was setup by Ronnie Brown. It has NEVER been jumped or on a motor cross track, the original tires, wheels and hubs from the factory are new, plus there are many NEW spares. The motor is completely stock, didn't need anymore horespower to dominate the flat track series. This bike has won every race it entered, we have only raced it two seasons, as I said it is in new condition my rider is moving up to a crf150r. Rossi’s Brother Luca Marini Tests Aspar Team Moto3 Racer
Mon, 18 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi‘s half-brother Luca Marini took part in the official test at Spain’s Valencia circuit, riding the Aspar Team‘s KTM-powered Kalex Moto3 racebike. Marini will race for the Aspar Team at the final round of the Moto3 class in Spain’s CEV championship next weekend at Jerez as part of an arrangement between Aspar Team and Rossi’s VR46 Riders Academy. Next season, Marini will compete full time in the CEV for Aspar.
KTM Fines MX2 Factory Racer Jeffrey Herlings for Bad Behavior – Video
Mon, 11 Jun 2012KTM has issued a fine and a warning to its own factory motocross racer Jeffrey Herlings for “certain behavioral issues” from the past two MX2 World Championship rounds. Herlings currently leads the MX2 World Championship standings, winning five of seven rounds including eight of 14 motos. KTM did not specify exactly what Herlings did, but the tipping point was dropping the F-bomb on live television in a post-race interview.
2013 KTM Two-Stroke Off-Road Models Recalled for Throttle Defect
Tue, 23 Apr 2013KTM has initiated a recall on 2013 two-stroke off-road motorcycles because of a problem with the throttle cable. The models affected are the 125 EXC, 125 EXC Six Days, 125 SX, 150 SX, 150, XC, 200 EXC, 200 XC-W, 250 EXC, 250 EXC Six Days, 250 SX, 250 XC, 250 XC-W, 300 EXC, 300 EXC Six Days, 300 XC, 300 XC-W, 85 SX, and 85 SXS. According to KTM, the throttle cable on affected models can get pinched between the throttle cable wheel and the top of the throttle housing assembly. This flaw may result in the loss of throttle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
