Fantastic motorcycle!: one owner - i bought it new off the dealers floor, 36,000 miles well maintained (have all records and reciepts) Full Akrapovic race system, Power Commander & billet Motohooligan Motobox filter kit
(set up and Dynoed professionally - 115hp rear wheel). Replaced last year as routine maintenence: New battery & rectifier, new silicon coolant hoses, full front suspension service - fluid, seals. New headset & wheel bearings/seals. New clutch slave cylinder. Recently replaced chain & sprockets, & rebuilt water pump to 2008 spec. have all record/reciepts. KTM 1290 Super Duke R Prototype to be Ridden at Goodwood Festival

An actual production version is on its way, as recent spy photos indicate, but the actual prototype displayed at Milan still maintains an aura of mystique. 2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced

Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.

Tue, 26 Jun 2012Many think Carbon Fibre chassis are relatively new to motorcycle racing but I can lay claim to having been there and done that almost thirty years ago. I first rode a Carbon/Kevlar 250cc Armstrong in 1983 before going on to grab four British titles and pretty much every national lap record over the next three years. I also had some top ten 250cc Grand Prix finishes although I was totally gutted when my team mate Donnie McLeod topped me by finishing 2nd in the Belgian GP at Spa.
