KTM EXC description
2008 KTM 450 XCR-W, 6 speed 4 stroke. It's an awesome bike! I rode it from Colorado Springs, CO to Moab, Utah and back on 1 trip.
Comes with HID headlight, 6.3 gallon baja tank, regular tank, gell seat, grip seat, factory tool kit (very helpful), frame extension luggage rack, top rack tail bag, JD jet kit, tail/brake light assembly, added extra guards, extra air filter, Trail Tec high output stator, and all the manuals from new. It comes with all that and it's a KTM! $3,200. I do not receive a title from new so it comes with a bill of sale and the original manufacture tag only. 2014 Bajaj Pulsar 375 – The Fully-Faired Indian Version of the KTM 390 Duke Spied
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Indian website Powerdrift has uncovered photographs of what it claims to be a Bajaj Pulsar 375, a faired sportbike based on the KTM 390 Duke. A Bajaj-branded version of the 390 Duke should be no surprise. The Indian company, after all, owns a 47% stake in Austrian-based KTM, and it released its own version of the 200 Duke in the 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.
KTM Developing 500cc and 800cc Twins
Wed, 05 Feb 2014After setting a new company record for motorcycle sales on the back of small displacement models like the Duke line (like the 390 Duke pictured above), KTM is turning its attention to mid-sized models. Speaking with Overdrive.in at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer says the company has 500cc and 800cc parallel Twin engines in development, with new models expected to enter production within three years. The new mid-sized models will be produced in India for the Indian market to avoid the country’s stringent import duties.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
