this is a nice start to an indian chief here   this frame looks like its ALL original and i mean never even fully taken apart, never repainted  has been sitting like this for a LONG time  not your typical repaired and piece mealed frame, its very straight and original.  no welds or damage on the frame  nice original seat T, shifter setup, dash and dash plate.  complete chrome fork with lower tree and shock.  inner and outer primary, nice complete front wheel with brake assembly and beck tire, both fenders are original and in totally usable shape  handlebars are original and all the spirals are intact and work, original chrome chain guard, automate generator with mount, original indian buddy seat.  this is all restorable and usable stuff  you'll be the first person to ever restore and fully take apart this frame if you decide to do so.  bike has a clear vin on the frame and comes with current NH paperwork in my name  HATE to sell but bills are getting too heavy and i have to get rid of some of my stuff  I have a NICE and 95% complete indian chief drivetrain for sale in another auction   i can put this whole setup on a pallet and it can be shipped worldwide.  shipping is the BUYERS responsibility, i will assist in any way possible    this is a NO RESERVE auction  do not bid unless you are going to follow through   thank you   joe

First Polaris-era 2012 Indian Motorcycle Rolls Off Spirit Lake Assembly Line

A new era has begun as the first Indian Motorcycle under the ownership of Polaris Industries has been produced at the company’s Spirit Lake, Iowa, factory. The landmark first Polaris-owned Indian won’t be heading right to the showroom floor however; instead, it will undergo extensive testing and evaluation by Polaris. As such, this particular Indian Chief Vintage, and the rest of the 2012 Indian line, will be fairly similar to Indian’s previous offerings, save for some minor updates to catch any issues Polaris already discovered.

Rockerbox Motofest Moves To Road America

Wisconsin’s premier motorcycle show, The Rockerbox Motofest, featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, super motos, scooters, and sidecars is making an official move for the future. Instead of its usual Milwaukee home, the event is making the trek 60 miles north to America’s national park of speed as part of  Road America’s American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 6-8. The Rockerbox Motofest includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible.

Yes, that’s the actual name of a production motorcycle designed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, a Honda subsidiary. In his review of the 150cc motorcycle, Rajeev Gaikwad said the Honda Unicorn Dazzler was “a handsome commuter with an enthusiastic and proven engine” though it was underwhelming in terms of performance and handling as the higher-priced successor to the regular Honda Unicorn also sold in India.
