Honda XL250 description

This bike is 44 years old but in nice shape and runs good. It is all original and has never been restored or rebuilt. It has some scratches, a little surface rust on the exhaust pipe and misc signs of age but is overall in very good condition. No rips in the seat cover but the gas tank does have a small dent/ripple on the side.

This bike always starts on the first or second kick, this model does not have a battery or electric start. Clutch works good and it shifts smoothly through the gears.  Lights work but it does not have turn signals as they were not required when this bike was built.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

2013 Repsol Honda Team Livery Revealed

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Repsol Honda revealed the livery off its RC213V racebikes and leathers of riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez for the 2013 MotoGP season. The livery is again dominated by the colors of the team’s top sponsor, Spanish oil giant Repsol, but with more white and less black, particularly along the bottom of the fairing. The Repsol logos on the sides now slope downward toward the swingarm whereas the previous design had them rising up toward the seat.

The bike whisperer...

We've all been there. The frustration caused when your pride and joy isn't working can cause beautiful relationships to instantly turn frosty. I once spent half an hour in the rain trying to bump start my bike once, before actually checking the kill switch.
