Honda Valkyrie description

I'm the 2nd owner and loved and rode this bike since 2006. It's been garage kept and in beautiful condition. No mechanical problems whatsoever (and never). Battery is fairly new gel cell. Tires have a few thousand miles left on them.

Regular oil changes and always used Royal Purple synthetic.

Extras:
  • Running lights
  • Pull-back risers
  • Back-off tail light flashers
  • 12volt socket in side panel
  • Rider backrest
  • "Ultimate" passenger seat
  • Flip down passenger arm rests
  • Custom passenger back rest ...seeing a trend here ;-)
Blemishes:
  • Minor scuffs on the crash bars
  • Right crash bar mount tube is dinged from a rock
  • A few minor rock nicks in the valve covers
  • Plastic alternator cover chrome is crinkled from spilling gas on it
  • Minor plastic chrome flaking on left rear turn signal

American Honda Signs Cole Seely To Factory Team

Mon, 25 Aug 2014

American Honda Motor Corp., Inc. announced today that it has signed Cole Seely to its factory supercross/motocross team with a multiyear contract. As a member of the Troy Lee Designs Honda satellite squad, Seely this year finished a close second in the AMA Supercross series’ 250 West title chase and also performed well during three appearances as a substitute rider on Team Muscle Milk in the premier class.

Help settle an argument

I'm happy to admit that I'm a little bit different; I believe that brown is an underused colour in motorcycling and we need to move on from custom café racers and introduce a dustbin fairing craze - you know I'm right. So, as Ben Cope - known around the Visordown office for being rather stubborn - and I were looking over various scooters on the 'net we uncovered the above machine, Honda's Big Ruckus 250. Instantly I thought that the Big Ruckus was absolutely cool, whereas Ben likened it to a 'mobility scooter'.

Honda's latest Cub

Fri, 18 May 2012

Honda released their original C100 Super Cub way back in 1958 when other bikes at the time proved to be notoriously unreliable and difficult to ride. Since then, they have sold over 27 million C90s, with the step-through framed bike proving to be easy to ride and even easier to maintain. Looking like it's come straight from the film WALL-E, the new UNI-CUB might have two wheels but any similarity with a Honda C90 ends there.
