Honda Valkyrie description

This M/C has so many options I may leave something out, I usually do.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to answer your questions. I would seriously consider swapping for a travel trailer, around 20', that is in excellent shape of equal value. Must be in very good working order, with no issues

OPTIONS:

Previous owner said the seat was custom made in Tampa $2500.00, it has 3 layers of memory foam with adjustable back rests front and rear with a stash pouch.

New front and rear brakes and battery last year.

Good rubber front and rear

Crash bars, high way pegs and chrome trim on every thing, there is only 2 pieces of chrome made that she does not have, a chrome drive shaft cover and a piece that goes on the rear of the front fender. I see them all the time on E Bay

3 very loud air horns

The Plate under the head light that says DRAGON, has a high intensity light behind it that lights up bright white and blinks, like the lights on those trucks that work on the roadways

Working clock and temp gauge on handle bars, engine temp gauge located next to dip stick on motor

Chrome cup holder

CB

Intercom system

Cigarette lighter and phone holder for gps and radio etc.

High intensity driving lights

High intensity fog lights

High intensity rear brake light that blinks while brakes are applied, great safety feature

Saddle bags have liners and water resistant luggage inserts for cloths, there is a third bag that can be mounted on the chrome sissy bar rack for extra cloths etc. total of 3.

There is a total of 4 or 5 helmets, two vented, one full coverage

Real nice 3x vented leather riding jacket with armor wore less than 6 times and a set of riding chaps if list price is paid, otherwise $200.00.

3 extra seats one is a solo seat

2 shop manuals

This MC is absolutely serviceable, if the buyer would like to drive it home you may consider this option with confidence, I would suggest changing the motor, transmission and drive shaft oils/fluids, other than that she's ready for a cross country trip.

PAYMENT:

"THIS IS AN AS IS SALE"

A $500.00 PayPal only deposit must be made within 3 days of agreed to sale. Remainder must be made in cash. If any other method of payment is made clear title or M/C will not be transferred until check or US postal money order clears my bank account. I am perfectly willing to take care of all paper work while buyer is here, notary etc. no problem.

If shipping is needed I will deliver to shipper, at no extra fee, but the BUYER PAYS ALL SHIPPING CHARGES.  If the buyer prefers to drive M/C to his location he should have no hesitations, the M/C is in dependable servicable condition but I would suggest having the motor, transmission and drive shaft fluids/oils changed. I do this each spring but due to my neck injury I haven't done this as of yet.  The shop I use will do it while you wait and you are welcome to contact them as to condition of M/C. I'll be only to happy to give you the number.

Do You See the Motorcycle?

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. More photos after the jump.

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.

American Honda Played A Big Role In Bringing Nicky Hayden Back To Team Red

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

In late 2013, American Honda was presented with an opportunity to bring Nicky Hayden back to the Honda family, and renew the relationship that started in 1999 when Hayden was just 17. By retaining Hayden’s services to ride the Honda RCV1000R in the MotoGP World Championship series for the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, American Honda is also now a proud sponsor of the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team. His first MotoGP season (2003) saw Hayden finish fifth in the championship on the Repsol Honda RC211V and win Rookie of the Year honors.
