Honda VTX description

2003 Honda VTX 1800C

Orange, Lots of Chrome and Extras

Ready To Ride

I purchased this bike back in 2007 from a man in Tn. At the time it had less than 5000 miles.

I fixed it up my way with lots of chrome and extras.

DynoJet Power Commander III (fuel injection system)

Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered Exhaust

Two Piece Studded Mustang Seat (solo or with Pass)

Battery Tender

Lindby Highway Bars

Padded Chrome Hand Grips

Chrome Oil Filler Cap

Chrome Reservoir Covers

Chrome Radiator Frame

Chrome Tag Trim

Chrome Side Covers

This Bike has been open garage kept and it is showing light signs of Chrome rusting and wheels staining.

I have been told that with a little work and scrubbing that most can be removed or lessened.

I had it fully serviced plugs, filter and fluids and they said tires have about half life. So this bike is ready to ride.

To be honest I love the bike but at this time I need the money. So someone gets a good deal. NADA list this bike at $5600.

Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping.

Thank you for looking and happy bidding.

2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements.  According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.

Honda Personal Mobility Concept U3-X [video]

Wed, 05 May 2010

Using technology derived from the ASIMO bi-pedal humanoid robot, Honda has developed a new personal mobility concept called the U3-X. If this proves successful, owners may never have to walk again. Check out a video of the U3-X in action below the jump.

Honda CB900F Bol D'or

Sun, 24 Feb 2013

Slick videos shot on HD GoPros (complete with dubstep soundtracks) are now common place. But back in the late 80s, self shot videos were much thinner on the ground, due to expensive camcorders that were about the same size as a petrol tank and probably just as heavy too.In a blast from the past, 'Old love' features a Honda CB900F Bol D'or and was posted online a few days ago by the self-proclaimed 'one of the quickest 'drivers' in Langenhagen, Germany': Jan Rosanka. The Blue Order remix is a great choice to accompany the short but my favourite scene is the friendly 'hi' to camera followed by the middle finger.
