Honda Shadow description

2009 Honda Shadow Aero, Almost New, 695 miles

I bought this Bike new from the dealership...   With ideas running through my head of cruising down the highway, riding Rt 2 in the fall, getting great mileage, just really going to enjoy my new toy...

What happened:  Every morning, I looked at it and decided to drive my truck so I could get an ice coffee on my way to work.

I never use it.   I put on less than 200 miles a year.  I just sits in the garage collecting dust.

This bike is almost new.  Not a scratch on it.  Never seen rain or snow (or even a puddle), never dumped or bumped.   During the winter I would start it once a month to keep the battery charged and the fluids circulating.

It is super comfortable and needs nothing.   If you are looking for a project bike, this is not for you.  Buy a 1980 Honda CB something.   If you are looking to save $4000 off a new bike and want something that starts on the first crank, this bike is for you.

It's got plenty of power, goes really fast...  I think I also have a windshield for it (I bought it, but never put it on)...  I will look for it, but make no promises.

I am just getting rid of toys I don't use...  Only reason for selling it.

I have the title.

Happy Bidding!!!

Greetings.   Just wanted to add that I found the windshield.   It's one of those clip on ones where you can take it on and off quickly.

So it comes with the bike.

Happy bidding...  I will miss this guy.

It really is perfect......

On Jul-29-13 at 10:03:45 PDT, seller added the following information:

Greetings again...   This is a No Reserve Auction.   I started low because I am sick of looking at it.

Also, I don't mind shipping this guy.   You are responsible for all the leg work.

Payment:   Cash Is KING!!!   But if you want, I can run it on a credit card (you will have to pay the 2.7% finance charge) so say it sells for $4000, I would bill you $4108 (to cover fee's).

Once again, Cash is king!!!

Also, next up on the chopping block will be my 2010 Polaris 550 EPS Limited (black) quad, all decked out with winch, plow and storage compartments.   It's really sweet.   Got about 80 miles on it.

Buy them both and I will throw in my Jet-ski for free!!!

Time to clean house....   More kids on the way....

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Endurance racing is perhaps the ultimate test of both man and machine. In the past, teams would pace themselves in order to rest both elements enough to make a final push at the end. These days, however, motorcycles are more reliable than ever, and riders train like triathletes.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
