Honda Rebel description

For sale is a 2008 Honda Rebel. I have done some work to it to convert it into a bobber including LED strip brake light. If the bobber look isn't for you, I will throw in all the original parts free of charge. I also have some side covers I meant to install but never got around to, I will throw them in as well. The bike runs and operates great, I bought it as my first motorcycle to learn on. There are two small dents on the gas tank, one from the previous owner and one when the bike tipped on a slope. It has never been in any crash. The battery is also new. The title is clean. I also have a bike cover I can throw in. Attached are photos of the bike as it is now and how it will be with original parts.

Local pickup only. Buyer must pickup in person.

2014 World Supersport – Phillip Island Results

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
