This is your opportunity to own this rare 1986 Honda Rebel CMX450. This model was only manufactured in 1986 and 1987. It is a great bike for those that need a ride that sits lower than most and is lighter and easier to handle but still has plenty of power. This will run 60 - 70 mph with no effort with the 6 speed transmission, but is also great for cruising the back country roads.
This bike is very clean with no rust, scratches or dents (there is some corrosion on the top of the battery box). There are no rips in the seats. It has been completely checked over by a professional. It has a fresh oil change and if something needed fixed or replaced it was done so with original parts not aftermarket. Saddle bags, windshield and a Clymer Honda Service Book are included! I have also listed this bike for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time. Mon, 21 Feb 2011Last week we revealed that Honda are likely to launch the new Honda Motocompo - over 30 years since the first version. I must admit, I'd never heard of it before we ran the news story, so I got onto YouTube and tried to find footage of a very efficient and humble Japanese businessman unloading one out of the boot of a Honda Civic in order to minimise their carbon footprint, but no... I couldn't find one.
