Honda Other description

Good to excellent condition. Starts, runs, idles, clutches, shifts, stops perfectly. New bearings throughout engine and transmission. Good compression, no untoward noises. Paint is not original but is very good. See images and bike running here: http://sdrv.ms/12ENBzx

NO TITLE regardless of the ridiculous eBay restriction. NO TITLE; collection or off-public-road use only.

In each and/or every case for shipping or delivery of motorcycle, full payment in cash in USD or bank wire transfer is required prior to the motorcycle release. Turnover will require a signed receipt from shipper on a company letterhead.

Recommend emphatically that buyer be prepared to set up shipping details in total. Access to my shop is very space-limited (not even a large panel truck), but I can meet your shipper at a large big-box store parking lot nearby for 25USD. Otherwise your shipper is responsible for retrieving the bike directly from my shop.

If buyer wishes me to set up the shipping with my shipper, note that the vehicle is a full-sized long-trailer eighteen-wheeler with sleeper tractor. This vehicle is unable to access 1.5 lane roads, sharp turns, dead-ends, downtown metropolitan areas, among others. Buyer may of course meet my shipper at any accessible area. My shipper can take up to eight weeks for delivery, but usually less. !Cost for my arrangement and shipping to lower 48 is 600USD! Again, it is clearly better and less expensive for the buyer to set up shipping.

Thanks much for looking!

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Spanish oil and gas company Repsol has renewed its long-standing partnership with Honda‘s MotoGP program, ensuring we’ll continue to Honda’s factory prototypes in their iconic orange through the 2017 season. Repsol has backed Honda’s team since February 1995, making them the longest-running factory team sponsorship pairing in Grand Prix motorcycle racing history. In their two decades together, Repsol and Honda have claimed 10 rider titles, 133 race wins and 354 podiums.

Marc Marquez Crash Data Analysis From Silverstone

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

During warm-up for last weekend’s Silverstone MotoGP race, Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez crashed between turns seven and eight, losing the front while on the brakes. The fall caused the MotoGP rookie’s shoulder to pop out of its socket, and Alpinestars has released the data from Marquez’ Tech-Air-equipped suit for us to further examine. Looking at the graph below, you’ll see the impact was focused on Marquez’ left shoulder.
