LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”

When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.

Honda Canada revealed the new 2011 CBR250R last night, and from the looks of things, the Japanese manufacturer is expecting big things from its new entry level sportbike. The new 2011 Honda CBR250R will be available both in Canada and the U.S. in Spring 2011 with an aggressive pricing plan that places the Kawasaki Ninja 250R directly in its sights.
