Beautiful classic Honda motorcycle. I restored this bike myself. New paint, new front tire, rear tire 80%. New battery. Carbs cleaned and synchronized. Looks, runs and drives like a new bike. Gas mileage is about 40MPG. The bike has been garaged and shows little to no signs of rust or corrosion. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. Buyer must possess a valid motorcycle license and proof of financial responsiblity if you want to test drive this bike. Otherwise, I will be happy to drive it for you while you follow in a car, or if your brave, hop on the back and I'll give you a ride. Paypal, cash or certified cashiers check accepted. The bike is garaged near Copperas Cove, Texas. Call me at 254-702-4930 with questions.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.

Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.
