Honda Other description

Hi here is a low mile bike in very good condition. This is a 40yr old bike that looks like it's a year or 2 old!! I purchased the bike from the original owner. Was sitting for years. When I got it I cleaned the carb and changed the oil. The bike was stored correctly except there was some fuel in the tank. The inside of the tank was coated some time ago. I drained the tank and installed a new petcock and it started 2nd kick!!. It has GREAT compression and feels like your kicking over a bigger displacement engine.

The bike's condition speaks for itself. Study the pics. From the front. The front tire is ready for a season or 2 of riding. The wheel is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches. All spokes are tight. Wheel bearings tight. The brake cable is original and looks great. The forks are shinny and seals are good. The fender is very good with a light scratch that I'm not sure if you can even see in the pics. The headlight is complete. All handlebar controls are there and look nice. All cables are original. The handlebar has some rust on it and can be seen in the photos. The handlebar grips look to be original.

The tank in the pics is the original one. When riding the bike around for about 1/2hr it stalled. I had no fuel. I noticed a piece of the coating had flaked off and some crap clogged the petcock. The tank will need to be re-coated. No worries, I have a second tank that is pristine on the inside with a few dings on the outside. I am mounting the second tank on the bike and will take a pic of it. Ride with that one and fix the original at your leisure.

Back to the rest of the bike. The underside of the frame is great with no dings. The same for the exhaust pipe. Footpegs are tight and straight. This bike was not beat on. Comes with original tools. The sidecover is nice but has  a scratch on it. The seatcover is original and is in great shape.

Rear shocks are original and are working properly. Chain and sprockets have a season or so left in them. Rear wheel bearings are tight. Rear fender is in very good shape. Rear tire has slightly less life in it than the front.

This bike can be ridden in confidence for years with just maintaining basic maintenance. Almost in too good of shape to ride in the woods. I can sell with a NH registration and bill of sale. That will get you a title and registration in any state.

All bidders with less than a feedback of 5 please contact me before bidding. I will cancel your bid unless we talk first.

I will work with your shipper. Follow payment schedule and the winning bidder needs to make a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48hrs unless it is a local pickup and the bidder will pay the entire payment in person with cash or a bank check.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. Highest bidder gets a GREAT bike!!!!!
