Honda Other description

1975 Honda XL250 Motorcycle
The bike is not running but was just a few months ago! Compression is low so I'm sure a rebuild is in order. The bike holds a current registration and is plated for street use in California! A great candidate for a motor swap or a vintage restore without the headache of DMV paperwork!

Those of you with a penchant for coffee table books will love this little gem from Japan. Honda Design 1957-1984 does exactly what it says on the tin and allows us an insight to the work behind many of our favourite motorcycles. Sketches, pre-production drawings and plenty of retro pictures of a golden era.

2013 Honda CBR500, CB500R and CB500X Spied in Commercial Shoot

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Spy photographers have captured Honda‘s new three-bike 500-series in the midst of filming for a commercial at the Piazza Garibaldi in Naples, Italy. The images, published on Il Centro, reveal Honda‘s new sportbike-styled CBR500, the naked CB500R which we first revealed in September, as well as an adventure-styled model bearing the name CB500X. The three new models are expected to share the same  engine, believed to be a 470cc parallel twin.

Last week we revealed that Honda are likely to launch the new Honda Motocompo - over 30 years since the first version. I must admit, I'd never heard of it before we ran the news story, so I got onto YouTube and tried to find footage of a very efficient and humble Japanese businessman unloading one out of the boot of a Honda Civic in order to minimise their carbon footprint, but no... I couldn't find one.
