***1968 Z50 Slantguard in perfect condition!***
Frame Number Z50A-103113 Engine Number Z50A-103288 Folks, this baby has been dwelling in my basement for several years now and has only been hand-cranked a few times a month just to keep the cylinder lubricated. I never intended to sell this one but have relocated to East Tennessee and I don't have a place to store it thats climate controlled. It has to go, hopefully to a high end collector who will care for and appreciate this incredible piece of motorcycle history for what it is. This bike has a very early VIN number that has been verified to match the frame and engine. These slantguards are so rare and difficult to find especially in pristine condition like this one. Its an absolute little cream-puff that deserves to be in a museum, it will be 50 yeasr old in less than 2 years! I took these photos with my phone in flourescent lighting so they didn't come out as good as I had hoped. This bike does not come with a title but I will provide the new owner with a notarized Bill of Sale. Linefork Cycles is now located in East Tennessee... Please ask any questions here or call me at 724-866-2571 Phil |

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point
Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
WSBK: 2011 Utah Results
Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
