1984 Honda Interceptor VFR700, Motorcycle of the year in 1984 and the last of the original interceptors . This motorcycle has been hard to find due to many wrecks. Everything works as it should and is a daily runner. She is fast and nearly stock in appearance with the original paint with no dings that has been fitted with modern conveniences to provide better performance, reliability and safety. Carbs are done (of course) , New tires, New master front brake cylinder, new ignition, new oil and filter, new coolant, new air filter (k&N) two brothers exhaust, new seat and complete top and bottom seals replacement. $2700 firm . The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.
Casey Stoner Testing The Honda RC213V At Motegi – Video
Fri, 09 Aug 2013Casey Stoner made a surprise return to MotoGP recently, participating in a two-day test with former employer, Honda. Check out the video below to see the former champ in action. The test took place at the Honda-owned Motegi circuit, where Stoner rode the 2013 model in the morning session before switching to 2014 machinery — the same spec bikes Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez currently pilot — in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the Australian only managed six laps during the first day of testing due to rain, but completed 47 laps the following day when conditions were much better.
Stoner explains the tank slapper
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
