Honda Gold Wing description

Up for auction is a 1984 Honda GL1200 Goldwing Interstate. It has 41k on it and is running and driving currently.  I do not have a title but it is registered currently in NH ( NH will not title any vehicle over 15 years old).
The Wing is in decent condition for the year. Runs and drives good, would possibly benifit from a tune up due to its been sitting for a year maybe clean carbs. Has a new battery, tires are decent will pass inspection. Has a comfy Corbin seat and matching trunk pad. Has a Sony CD stereo with AUX input for that IPOD/IPHONE input. Comes with a removable drivers backrest, motorcycle cover and two matching large HJC helmets (one full face and one open face

An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
