Honda Goldwing Aspencade 1200 on 2040-motos
Honda Gold Wing description
I got the Honda in a trade from Scranton PA. my wife said she would go with me if a motorcycle was more comfortable than my Harley Sportster. She is afraid of motorcycles any way and only went once or twice with me. I have not registered it here in NY but the title is open. I took it up and down the road and it has very good power and idles nice . Would love to keep it but I have other bikes that I like better. I 'am not one for long trips and big touring bikes when going by my self on short trips to town..
This Honda has a lot of extra lights and chrome accessory on it. Have not found one on e-bay like it. Every thing seems to work but the clock but maybe I just don't know how to set it.
It also came with a small motorcycle trailer painted with the same colors as the Honda. I attached it to the motorcycle and all the lights work. In it were some extra parts, a few replacement lens, trim parts for the trailer, 2 new in the box timing belts, and several oil filters with o-rings.
When I got it home I drained the fuel and put in fresh fuel and changed the oil and filter and the spark plugs. That made it run real nice.
The only thing I see that it needs if I was to keep it are a front tire and maybe fork seals. Front tire has tread and no cracks but it's old. Rear tire is newer and in good shape. Just the things I would do if I was to keep it. Trailer tires look new with new rims.

This has been garage keep since 2009 I was told by the 2nd owner. I have it in a heated garage and the trailer sits outside until I make room for it. I guess thats why its in very nice condition. Any way I have always been a fair weather rider.

Also comes with 2 helmet communicators and have no idea how they hook up but they are there in a bag in the trailer. Goldwing is all new to me.

As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines. We’ve discussed the lifting of the rookie rule already, with the main impetus being to allow a manufacturer such as Honda to sign up-and-coming Moto2 star Marc Marquez when he is expected to move up to the premiere class next season. KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.Fri, 28 Feb 2014 00:00:00 -0800
The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.
