Honda Goldwing Aspencade 1200 on 2040-motos
Honda Gold Wing description
I got the Honda in a trade from Scranton PA. my wife said she would go with me if a motorcycle was more comfortable than my Harley Sportster. She is afraid of motorcycles any way and only went once or twice with me. I have not registered it here in NY but the title is open. I took it up and down the road and it has very good power and idles nice . Would love to keep it but I have other bikes that I like better. I 'am not one for long trips and big touring bikes when going by my self on short trips to town..
This Honda has a lot of extra lights and chrome accessory on it. Have not found one on e-bay like it. Every thing seems to work but the clock but maybe I just don't know how to set it.
It also came with a small motorcycle trailer painted with the same colors as the Honda. I attached it to the motorcycle and all the lights work. In it were some extra parts, a few replacement lens, trim parts for the trailer, 2 new in the box timing belts, and several oil filters with o-rings.
When I got it home I drained the fuel and put in fresh fuel and changed the oil and filter and the spark plugs. That made it run real nice.
The only thing I see that it needs if I was to keep it are a front tire and maybe fork seals. Front tire has tread and no cracks but it's old. Rear tire is newer and in good shape. Just the things I would do if I was to keep it. Trailer tires look new with new rims.

This has been garage keep since 2009 I was told by the 2nd owner. I have it in a heated garage and the trailer sits outside until I make room for it. I guess thats why its in very nice condition. Any way I have always been a fair weather rider.

Also comes with 2 helmet communicators and have no idea how they hook up but they are there in a bag in the trailer. Goldwing is all new to me.

Veteran AMA racer Jake Zemke was on hand for the recent press intro for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Check out the onboard video after the jump.Tue, 25 Aug 2009
Here's a new video from Honda, drumming up interest in their new V4. It's kinda nice, doesn't give much away but get to the end of the video (around 1m20secs in) and you'll hear Honda's new V4. So it's official, they've made it and it'll be out in 2010.Fri, 13 Aug 2010
Recently here on Motorcycle.com, we’ve been bringing you reviews of a handful of Honda scoots that are available to our neighbors (or is that neighbours?) to the North in Canada, yet remain forbidden fruit for American consumers. Reviewer Costa Mouzouris gave us a look at the naked CB1000R that Honda Canada is considering importing, the already-available half-faired CBF1000, and the entry-level CBR125R. Meanwhile, Honda’s competitors have also announced some new products for Canada that have yet to be made available in the U.S.
