Honda, owner of renowned trials bike manufacturer, Montesa, is offering a limited number of Cota 4RT models in the United States for 2014. The Cota 4RTs are competition-ready machines designed for serious competitors and weekend trials enthusiasts alike. The 2014 models are powered by a 260cc, 4-stroke Single with electronic fuel injection that features a decompression system for reducing reverse engine torque, making the 4-stroke engine resemble the free-wheeling effect of a 2-stroke.

The Postie Bike Challenge started in 2002 as a one-off event in Brisbane, Australia to prove that small bikes can travel long distances over both asphalt, dirt, sand, or stony surfaces has turned into a 10-day charity event. The entry fee is $4,000 but almost everything is taken care of, including: Late model Honda CT110 Postie bike (registered to you!) All breakfasts, lunches and dinners All fuel for the trip One way air ticket back to Brisbane Support truck to carry equipment, clothing bag and mechanics Final celebration dinner and hotel accommodation That’s right, you can keep the Honda CT110 Postie bike (designed for commercial and agricultural, also used by Australia Post) but the concept is to give the bike to charity in your name after the event is over, its up to you but more than 90% of the participants do give the bike back. The 2009 Postie Bike Challenge will take place from October 3rd to the 13th and will go from Brisbane to Melbourne, the destination changes every year. Honda to produce V4 in 2010

Honda announced at EICMA that they intend to introduce a new V4 motorcycle in 2010. Very few details about the new bike have been released, only that it will be powered by Honda’s iconic V4 engine configuration. The Japanese manufacturer is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its V4 engine.
