2005 Honda Gold Wing on 2040-motos
Honda Gold Wing tech info
Honda Gold Wing description
Good looking 2005, Anniversary Edition Honda Goldwing GL1800. This bike is in very good condition, original owner and like most Goldwings it was ridden conservatively by one adult rider. This bike is in Candy Black Cherry which is a rich burgundy color. It is basically stock, the only accessories are a trunk top luggage rack, a 12 volt accessory plug in the trunk and removable hot feet. There is no bling installed on this bike she is still in the beautiful stock trim. Tires are Dunlop Elite 3's with about 5,000 miles on them.
I love this bike but stage four arthritis of the knees has ended my touring life. I an sadly stepping down to a CTX700 (lighter and a more relaxed riding position) and will really miss the Goldwing. Title is clear, the bike is located on Eastern Long Island and buyer is responsible of pickup or shipping. Cash or bank check drawn on a local bank only. |

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams
Wed, 26 Sep 2012It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
