Honda Gold Wing description

Up for your consideration is a very nice 2000 Honda Goldwing GL1500 with a Trike Shop conversion installed in 2004. The trike is in very good condition both mechanically and physically. Trike color is pearl white and the inserts are a light green color.

The trike conversion is fully independent suspension and has the easy steer installed, also has the auxiliary fuel tank, carpet in trunk and 2 tone paint to match the bike. Trike body is in excellent condition with no cracks or body damage of any kind and has never been in any accident.

The trike has a CB radio, AM & FM radio and a cassette player all in good working order, reverse gear, ISO hand grips, chrome rotor covers with Ring of Fire amber outside and green inside, driver hwy. boards and floorboards with heel and toe shifter, Kuryakyn passenger transformer boards, added light, lighted mud flaps, wind wings, driving lights, passenger arm rest and comes with a full trike cover and a half cover both in great condition. All lights on trike are working properly and trike has no known issues.

The trailer is a 2002 Starlight made in Neosho Mo. and is in good condition with carpet inside and lots of lights in rear and also comes with a cover. Trailer also has a spare tire underneath and every light is in good working order. 

Front tire is in very good condition and is the Michelin Pilot Active which will get great mileage on a trike. The back tires will need to be replaced next year if you are going to do a lot of traveling but are still safe for riding locally or on shorter trips.

The negative is a small tear in seat and seam is coming apart in one area and I have taken a good picture that shows both areas, also  the right side cover has part of the GOLDWING emblem missing but this can be acquired for about $25 at your local Honda dealer and I have taken a close up of this sidecover.

If you are the winning bidder of this beautiful trike I would like a $500 deposit within 72 hrs. of auction end and will accept pay pal for this deposit or a certified check. I would like the remaining balance within 7 days of auction end and trike picked up within 7 days of auction end if possible.

If trike and trailer are to be shipped I would want all funds before shipping company picks up and bank must verify funds before trike leaves my shop. All shipping arrangements  are the responsibility of the winning bidder and I will assist in loading if needed. Once trike leaves my shop full responsibility will be on shipper so make sure your shipper is licensed and bonded to ship trikes and bikes. If it takes a shipping company longer than 7 days to pick up trike and trailer I fully understand and will work with you on this.

Honda CRF250L Confirmed for North America

American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. The section discussing the CRF250L’s muffler explicitly confirms an American and Canadian model, saying: “the model for the United States and Canada complies through additional settings for a spark arrestor.” The section on the CRF250L’s engine also confirms the dual-sport will be CARB-compliant, stating: “the power unit for the U.S.

Honda CBR250R Challenge Series Announced for 2012 Canadian Superbike Season

Honda Canada has officially announced a new racing series featuring its CBR250R entry-level sportbike, to be held at 2012 Canadian Superbike racing events. The new Honda CBR250R Challenge series replaces the previous CBR125R spec series and will include a double-header at each CSBK National race weekend. The series is open to riders 15-25, though riders as young as 13 may be eligible if they have competed in at least three sanctioned CBR125R events.

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300

Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
