Up for sale 1993 Honda Godlwing GL1500A Aspencade model comes with 6 cylinder engine and 5 speed with Reverse transmission. This bike comes standard with features available for this year and model plus some extras like CD changer,luggage rack,rear spoiler, etc.
This bike was purchased from an insurance company therefore carries salvage title. Bike has following damages but not limited to: misc. dents and scratches, front end damage upper faring assembly ands headlight area and upper components, front tire flat no visible damage to the front rim, needs headlight assembly, upper faring cowl,bracket and plastic tray,windshield, mirrors, bracket cluster plexy-glass(cluster still works ok),side fairing damaged, side cover on right side, right passenger rear speaker assembly, passenger arm rest.Right brake lever bent, needs hand grip. Bike turns but I did not have alot of time messing with it to start it, Iam sure with a little work it will run, engine not locked, it turns fine and good compression. This bike is offered for parts or for repair at your choice, still alot of used good parts, check out all the pictures and see if this is what you need. I assume serious bidders only! Tue, 01 Oct 2013If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today. Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.
