George "the Geek" back in action from Link Ford Lincoln and RV in beautiful (but chilly) Rice Lake, WI. Right now, we are working on a BUNCH of listings, but first off the block is this awesome 1990 Honda Goldwing. This bike is in awesome condition for it's age. The owners loved it and had a hard time parting with it when they traded it in on a new camper.
The previous owner took great care of this bike and was used all the way up until this fall when it was too cold for them to cruise. All parts are factory with the exception of the replaced battery and tires. Paint is in fantastic condition with the exception of a few minor scratches but much less than normal for it's age. To be honest, the only real body imperfections I really noticed was some surface rust on the highway pegs and paint flaking on the side-view mirrors. Motor runs quiet and smooth, no backfiring or "chugging." Suspension still rides smooth, radio works, bike starts right up. Tow package on this bike with working wire harness and hitch. If you are looking for a classic cruiser with the comforts you want for a long ride, you can't pass up on this bike. Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2
Thu, 01 May 2014In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
