Honda Gold Wing description

1985 Honda GL1200 Goldwing Aspencade, 65553mi-----Very clean and well kept bike, paint, seats, chrome, trim all in good condition. Runs well, but has old fuel and plugs, so it will smoke and stink when it's started...I added a new battery, a little fresh fuel, and now it starts well, idles right when warmed up, and rides good, still needs some TLC, as it's in need of a carb clean I'm sure. Good charging system. Has built in air suspension compressor, stereo, heel-toe shift, floorboards, and a lot of added chrome, including engine covers, rotor covers, saddlebag guards and more. Good rubber. Extra lights all work, and are all hooked into a switch so they can be turned off..., nothing touched up or repainted, literally not even polished. Clear WI title in my name, in my hand. Take a look, ask me any questions, Thanks

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Do You See the Motorcycle?

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. More photos after the jump.

2013 AIMExpo: Skidbike

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

One of the most inventive devices seen at this week’s AIMExpo is the Skidbike, a novel creation that helps teach riders the skills to balance and to master threshold braking. It’s a Swedish/American invention originally designed to educate riders how to sufficiently apply brakes to avoid an accident without the danger of tipping over and causing injuries. It uses an electrically operated hydraulic ram built on a hinged dolly to reduce front-tire grip, which drastically reduces speeds when traction is lost so riders can learn how to use the brakes effectively.
