Honda GB500 Tourist Trophy description

Selling a 1990 Honda GB500 Tourist Tropy with under 16,000 miles. I am the third owner. Second owner had this motorcycle for 20 years and the bike was stored inside under cover for 10 of those. I purchased this last fall out of those 10 years of storage, did some cleanup, changed all fluids, installed a new gel battery and got it running. Carburetor was rebuilt and front tire changed. Rear tire still has plenty of tread but has some age cracking so i would recommend changing. Everything operates as it should. Tool kit and owner's manual are in place and complete. Have shop manual and a collection of photocopied GB500 magazine articles. Clear California title. Sold as is, for pickup at my home in Pollock Pines, California. I have taken this bike on a couple of long rides in the mountains around my home and it is an easy, fun and comfortable bike to ride. Will be happy to assist with shipping but it will be your responsibility to arrange and pay for it. Please ask first what you have in mind. I may be willing to deliver to successful bidders in northern or central California for expenses - again, please ask before bidding. Bidders in Northern California are welcome to come and see the bike at my home in Pollock Pines, California. Serious bidders only please. If you are unsure of anything in my description or have any questions at all, please feel free to ask.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

2012 Honda NC700X and NC700S Debut in Canada – MSRP Expected to be “Under $9000″ [Video]

Sat, 10 Dec 2011

There are no plans yet to bring either model to the U.S., but Honda is bringing its new NC700S and NC700X models to Canada for the summer of 2012. American Honda will however, likely be keeping a close eye on how the new models do with its northern neighbor (or perhaps “neighbour”) before deciding whether to import the NC700 models stateside. Making their North American debuts at the 2011 Toronto Motorcycle Show, the naked standard NC700S and the more adventure-touring styled NC700X represent a new product family for Honda, sharing the same frame and 670cc parallel Twin engine with each other and the Honda Integra scooter-motorcycle crossover (speaking of which, there are no plans for the Integra to come to either the U.S.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
