This is a survivor. It's in great shape other than the following - faded headlight bucket, headlight not working, speedometer not working, left side decal rubbed off, handle bars are bent in a little. Complete, early ct70!
I picked this up from a friend a couple years ago. Tuned it up and put new tires on it. My son and I ride it around the neighborhood from time to time. Starts easy, runs well. Unique silver-tag. This bike was produced in 1969 before they started putting the 1970 vin tags on the frame. Engine number is CT70E-110141. Please let me know if you have any questions. Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.

Mon, 13 May 2013Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.

Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
