Honda CRF description

  • More Tuneable, Better Handling. The Best 250 Out There.
  • Everyone knows the Honda CRF®250R is one of the best handling bikes in the class. And for 2015 it just got a lot better, thanks to the addition of its new Showa Air Fork SFF suspension. We made plenty of other fine-tuning changes as well. One ride, and we know you’ll agree it was worth the wait.
  • Some of the changes you’ll spot right away—the all-new Engine Mode Select button. It’s an industry first for MX bikes, and it’s going to make tuning your bike for changing track conditions a snap. Other changes include a larger front brake disc, a lighter throttle return spring and larger muffler exit-pipe diameter.
  • One thing’s for certain—the closer you look, and the more you ride, the more you’re going to realize that the new CRF250R is the best 250 you’ve ever wheeled up to a start gate.More Tuneable, Better Handling. The Best 250 Out There.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
