Motor has very stout compression. Transmission shifts smooth throughout all the gears. Clutch works smooth and strong with no chatter. The front and rear suspension works good, but the forks are leaking some and this will need new seals at some time. This has a brand new chain slider pad on the swing arm. Good brakes both front and rear. Tires are in very good shape. No dents or cracks in either wheel, with good wheel bearings. Sprockets and chain are in good shape. All of the plastic is in pretty nice shape. No cracks, but there are are some scratches, scuffs and just normal wear. Seat cover has no tears, but it is stained in some areas. Wed, 21 Dec 2011Veteran AMA racer Jake Zemke was on hand for the recent press intro for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Check out the onboard video after the jump.
