Honda CL description

1966 Honda CL77 305 Street Scrambler is all stock and restored in beautiful condition. I am selling my collection of vintage cycles due to health reasons and this is my favorite of all my bikes. It is sure to draw attention wherever you go. As the photos show it is in impeccable condition, ready to ride or show.

The engine, transmission and clutch have been rebuilt, new hardware where needed, new spokes, bearings, chain, sprockets, brakes, cables, battery, rectifier, chroming where needed and all lights and horn work as they should. This is a straight and exceptional CL77 305, of collector quality and needs nothing.

It has the removable canister muffler on the end of the exhaust pipes, removal is one bolt and you have straight through sound unique to these scramblers.

Drive it or show it, this vintage scrambler runs and drives like new and will only appreciate in value. CL77s in this condition are rare, I have a reasonable reserve on it, happy bidding and thanks for looking.

Call Arnie with any questions at 651-261-5669.  Clear title in hand.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
