1979 Honda CBX (1979)
I’m re-listing this bike due to concerns with selling and shipping to an overseas buyer. The bike is a stock 1979 CBX with 15,681miles on the odometer. The bike runs and recently had the following work performed: Carbs rebuilt, brake calipers cleaned and flushed, new battery, starter motor rebuilt, new starter solenoid, new plugs, oil change and filter, new Pingel fuel petcock. Paint on the tank is nice, but has a slight fade on the top towards the seat. The seat has splits on the top and the tail panel has nicks and could use a repaint. The side covers need to be repainted and re-decaled, but are in good shape with all tabs still in place. The fuel tank will need to have the inside cleaned and resealed as a previous owner had done it, but the existing sealer is starting to flake. The original exhaust pipes have had repairs done to both sides, but the work is not noticeable. I will include a CBX shop manual and dealer set-up manual with the bike. My reserve is low compared to what these bikes are bringing.
