Honda CBR description

This is a 2nd owner Well maintained 2004 Honda Cbr 1000 RR, I purchased the bike from original owner (my brother in law) and has been garage kept since purchased new and very well maintained. The oil Has been changed every 6 months (weekend toy so was only driven on weekends as you can see from the low mileage 8685) by honda oil/filter only (synthetic). The bike looks like new, it has been owned by middle aged males and well taken care of so it has never been raced, wrecked or dropped. The tires since have been replaced on front/rear and there is a after market exhaust 2 brothers carbon fiber pipe (also have the original pipe to give new owner as well). I have clean title (florida) in hand and can arrange any out of state buyer with assistance on local pick up if needed (which means if you have transport I can drive from my house to any where in orlando area for new owner to take possession). Please feel free to call me with any questions I may have for the motorcycle. Based on its current condition the trade in value is just over $4,000.00 So I am very reasonable on the asking price here. I also have a nice red/black Shoei helmet and riding gloves to throw in with the deal (matching red/black alpine gloves). Also have a swing arm type stand that lifts the bike rear tire which will be included with the purchase (use for oil changes and cleaning bike).

Please call Alex 407-276-4178 with any questions.

2014 Honda CB1100 Announced

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

The Honda CB1100 has only been available here in North America for a year, but for 2014, the retro-styled standard is already getting an update. That’s because the CB1100 has been around for a bit longer overseas, and for nearly everywhere but here, it’s ripe for a modest refresh. For 2014, Honda is replacing the previous version’s five-speed transmission with a six-speed gearbox.

2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced

Thu, 30 May 2013

Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort.   However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina),  Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.

Moto2 needs more radical bikes

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.
